I am

a New York–based writer and performer whose work spans epic historical musicals, intimate love stories, and genre-defying theatrical worlds. Winner of the 2024 Fred Ebb Award, as well as the Jonathan Larson Grant, ASCAP Foundation’s Yellen Award, and the Weinberger Librettist Award. Musical theatre works include MĀYĀ (in development toward a UK world premiere) and The Phoenix (a two-part epic about Chinese dance) and The Gray Man (a Southern love story told across three hurricanes).
